Fountain Hills Theater walked away with eight honors following the 35th Annual AriZoni Awards, recognizing its outstanding contributions to Arizona theater.
The ariZoni Awards, held Sept. 30 at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, celebrate excellence in local theater, honoring actors, directors, designers and playwrights in Arizona. This year’s ceremony marked a milestone with over 200 productions adjudicated from more than 35 theaters in both adult and youth categories, according to a press release by PHX Stages.
A record-setting crowd of more than 1,250 people attended the event, underscoring the growing influence of the state’s theater community.
