Welcoming People - Meet the residents of Fountain Hills, and you will find that they also are originally from somewhere else but found this place so special they now call Fountain Hills their home. When meeting new residents, I am told time and time again of how impressed they are with the community and in particular how friendly and welcomingly the community has greeted them.

Natural Beauty – Upon entering Fountain Hills from our neighboring communities, you are immediately in awe of the setting our community is nestled within. Our community is certainly one of hills, but the beautiful Sonoran Desert, Verde and Salt rivers, McDowell Mountain Regional Park, Tonto National Forest and numerous mountain ranges provide a beautiful one-of-a-kind frame.

Outdoor Activities – Hiking and biking abound in and around Fountain Hills, and you won’t find more beautiful vistas. Fountain Hills and McDowell Mountain Regional Park offer thousands of acres of trails for the beginner to skilled explorer. Enjoy Frisbee golf at world famous Fountain Park. Golf, golf and more golf as Arizona’s favorite courses call Fountain Hills home. There is something for everyone in Fountain Hills.

World Famous Fountain – Our Town centerpiece spouts on the hour up to 560 feet into the air from the center of Fountain Lake which is wrapped by the amenity-filled Fountain Park, fun for all -- don’t miss it and the nearby restaurants and shopping!

Excelling Schools – We value youth and ongoing education in Fountain Hills. Our public schools have earned the state’s highest rating: “Excelling Schools,” and they welcome your children to experience this excellence. Education continues beyond high school here as well, and a great resource for continuing education is our Senior Center. Check it out, and you’ll be hooked.

Fun Events – We enjoy our quality small Town character, and that shows through our many events, from our nationally valued Arts and Crafts Fairs that draw hundreds of thousands to “Ballet in the Park” at our outdoor amphitheater. The award-winning Fountain Hills Community Theater runs year ‘round, offering excellent entertainment. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
